Consultancy Agreements

Consultancy agreements can be required for many different types of service where third party expertise is used.  They are commonly used in IT projects when a third party consultant is appointed to assist with a new IT procurement project, to tailor and develop a piece of software or to design a bespoke solution. Contractual and legal issues need to be carefully considered, whether from the consultant or client perspective.  For example, the parties need to carefully consider the scope of works in the contract, what the term of the appointment will be and crucially, who will own the rights in the developed works.

Our commercial team can help with all aspects of consultancy agreements whether you are the consultant or the client business and we are committed to delivering timely and effective advice that will meet your requirements.
