Pre/Post Nuptial Agreements
We understand that you may not wish to believe that your marriage may end, however we also understand that individuals may wish to plan for every eventuality. Pre/ Post Nuptial Agreements, like Wills, allow for plans to be made
should the worst happen.
Pre/ Post Nuptial Agreements are entered into in the hope of knowing what the parties intend to happen with their assets and to save the time and expense of negotiation during divorce.
A Pre-Nuptial Agreement is an agreement entered into by the couple before they marry to formalise arrangements relating to their finances should the parties separate. A Post-Nuptial Agreement is simply that the agreement is made after marriage takes place.
Please see an attached fact-sheet regarding the current legal standing of Pre / Post Nuptial Agreements.
