Specialist areas: Corporate litigation, in particular large-scale commercial disputes including breach of contract, warranty claims, shareholder actions (including unfair prejudice section 994 Companies Act petitions), board disputes, insolvency and fraud claims, partnership disputes, banking litigation, intellectual property disputes, commercial agency disputes and professional negligence claims. His work includes emergency applications for injunctive relief.

Background: Damian graduated from Sheffield University in 1993. After completing his training at DLA in Manchester in 1997 he moved to Halliwells, then joined Berg Legal in 2003. Damian is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association. He is an exponent of alternative dispute resolution, particularly mediation in appropriate circumstances.
Career highlights: Obtaining a worldwide freezing and disclosure injunction in a complex and challenging multi-party dispute, and successfully tracing and recovering the assets for his client.
