£25m acquisition in under a month!

Berg Legal advised asset-based lender Davenham Group plc on its £25 million acquisition of Manor Credit, which provides asset-backed funding for commercial vehicles and construction equipment.

The deal had multiple benefits for Davenham, such as expanding its product offering, its geographic presence and its customer base, but it wanted to complete as swiftly as possible. The Berg team finalised the deal within just four weeks. Davenham’s chief executive David Coates said Berg deserved ‘a great deal of credit for the swift execution’. He added: “They understand our business and provide effective advice.”
