Trainee solicitors

We offer training contracts for graduates from a variety of backgrounds. What all our trainees have in common are excellent academic standards, good communication skills and enthusiasm for their chosen profession.

Every trainee at Berg Legal will gain experience working with Partners and solicitors and you will spend some time in the following practice areas: Commercial Property, Corporate, Employment and Commercial Litigation. You may also have the opportunity to spend some time with our Intellectual Property team.

You will be assigned to a supervisor responsible for monitoring your workflow and ensuring that you receive good quality training and a challenging learning experience. This ensures that your work experience is thorough and varied.

The PSC is taught externally and trainees are also expected to attend a number of internal seminars on topics relevant to the firm's particular areas of expertise.

We usually recruit two/three trainees each year. Your CV and covering letter should be sent to Vicki Bates, by 30th September, in order that you may be considered for a position commencing in September the following year.
