Following the appointment of Clifford Chance by RBS to investigate claims made in the
Tomlinson Report and Sir Andrew Large’s Report, Berg has made contact with the investigation to seek to represent our clients’ experiences.

We have now received a response from Clifford Chance and will be making further representations to them to share the relevant information.

We believe the information we have represents a true reflection of the matters of RBS and the activities of Global Restructuring Group (GRG) and we have consistently championed a full investigation in to the malpractices of which we have received evidence of.

Berg will continue to keep clients up to date on progress with this.  Our intention is to continue to push for our clients to be appropriately compensated.  If that cannot be agreed as part of this investigation or otherwise, then civil proceedings would appear
to be inevitable both in the form of individual proceedings and/or a group litigation order.

If you have issues that you should wish to discuss relating to Interest Rate Hedging Products and/or RBS’s use of Global Restructuring Group ("GRG") and West Register, please contact a member of Berg’s banking litigation team on 0161 829 2599 or email
