Berg are proud to have two members of its senior management team nominated in this year’s Women in Business Awards – our Managing Partner Alison Loveday and our Marketing Manager Sarah Wilde.

On the back of the firm’s recent award of Best Law Firm 2015 in the City of Manchester Business Awards, it’s a testament to the energy and drive of Berg to see not just one, but two of their team shortlisted for the 2015 awards.  The awards will now form
part of the firm’s celebration of its 35th year in business.

Returning to the Lowry Hotel on Friday 10th July, Downtown In Business has once more teamed up with the Women’s Organisation to celebrate female entrepreneurs and business owners from across Manchester.

As the imaginative law firm, we live by our values – incisive, courageous and enterprising. Both Alison and Sarah have contributed to the growth of the firm and its increasingly national profile.

Alison, who has been nominated as ‘Best Legal Advisor of the Year’, has led Berg’s work in financial regulation and mis-selling by the banks. Her work on the Berg Banking Report, submissions to the Treasury Select Committee and various independent investigations
have championed complex issues nationally, to the benefit of individuals and businesses. Alison also supports a number of female entrepreneur and women in business initiatives locally and nationally.

Shortlisted for ‘Best Marketer Award’, Sarah joined the firm in 2013 as the sole member of the marketing team at that time, and has worked closely with Alison and the management team over the past 2 years to innovate and grow the marketing function, establishing
a social media apprentice, helping to build a marketing and business development team and leading on the Berg Banking Report campaign which was awarded a Gold CIPR award last year.

In the past 12 months Berg has been awarded Talk of Manchester Awards and
City of Manchester Business Awards
and we wish Alison and Sarah the same success!

Really enjoyed this event, Very useful short snappy update. Mock tribunal role play very well planned with full explanation of different outcomes at the end.

berg were great. Didn't rush in where others would have. Considered every angle first, explained the options clearly, focused like a laser on the solution and got the result I wanted.
