On Friday 10th July, berg attended the 2015 Women in Business Awards, hosted by Downtown In Business. It was a packed awards ceremony with many of the most talented women in business in the room.
Two of our top female professionals from berg were shortlisted; managing partner Alison Loveday nominated for ‘Best Legal Advisor of the Year’ and Sarah Wilde our marketing manager nominated for ‘Marketer of the Year.’
We are proud to announce that Alison was awarded ‘Legal Advisor of year 2015’ at the ceremony.
Alison Loveday has been with the firm since she started as a trainee in 1990, establishing the firm’s employment department, growing the firm and most recently heading up the thought leadership and expertise on national business and financial issues. A known
expert in the national press, Alison has provided insight and challenge, whilst raising awareness of critical legal and business issues for thousands of SME’s.
Alison has led the firm’s work in financial regulation and mis-selling by the banks. Her work on the Banking Report 2013, 2014, and 2015, submissions to the Treasury Select Committee and various independent investigations have championed complex issues nationally,
to the benefit of individuals and businesses. This has led to Alison being highly sought-after for opinion in national press and media, including BBC Breakfast, BBC Five Live, The Times, Panorama and more.
As berg are celebrating our 35th anniversary as the imaginative law firm and have just launched our critically acclaimed 2015 Banking Report: Lifting the lid off lending it could
not be a better time to congratulate Alison on her achievements.
