On Sunday the 28th September, our Head of Dispute Resolution, Damian Carter will be running the 26+ miles in the fastest marathon in the world. Damian last year completed the BUPA 10K in Manchester, and decided to set himself a new challenge this year of the
Berlin Marathon. Typically more than 40,000 athletes set off on the marathon cheered on by about a million spectators.
Damian is running the marathon on behalf of a charity close to his heart, The Alzheimer’s Society. The Alzheimer’s Society is the leading UK care and research charity for people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, their families and carers. Damian
so far has managed to raise almost £2,000 for his chosen charity but is looking to raise as much as he can for such a worthy cause.
