As part of their 35th Anniversary year, berg are delivering a full programme of thought leadership, arts and charity events and opportunities which has already seen a prestigious lecture in conjunction with Manchester Business School, a key
panel event at IPExpo, supporting the Manchester International Festival and a team of berg explorers take on the Three Peaks Challenge for charity.
One of the key elements of the programme for 2015 is the pro-manchester Science and Technology steering group, who have launched a
survey of Greater Manchester Science and Technology businesses as part of their 2015 sector report. The group is part of a wider network of Greater Manchester organisations
set up to help build relationships, share knowledge and assist in tackling some of the challenges that are facing Science and Tech businesses in the region. The group is also supporting Manchester’s year as the European Capital of Science, launching this year
and building to an international conference and fringe events in 2016.
Science and technology sector group
The group’s aim is to create a series of activities that will improve understanding and communications between the financial and professional services sector and the science and technology sector in Greater Manchester. This is an exciting new initiative, working
in a vibrant and evolving sector and brings together experts and business leaders and has already seen the group lead on a
key panel event at the first IP Expo event in Manchester this year. We would welcome your involvement to ensure that we deliver insightful, thought provoking, relevant events and activities.
Sci and Tech Sector Survey
Another key project for the group in 2015 is the science and technology sector report and as part of the engagement programme the network have launched a short survey for sci and tech companies in order to help understand some of the challenges faced by organisations
and the sector and also provide some insight into priority events and how the two different sectors can work together more effectively.
Please click here to complete the survey before the 31st August 2015
The survey results will help inform the 2015-2016 events programme and the sector report so please do take the opportunity to get involved and share with colleagues and contacts.
