As the firm celebrates 35 years, last weekend’s Francis House charity hike part of our 2015 anniversary programme exemplified berg’s values of being courageous and enterprising through innovation, sports challenges and charitable activities.
With the National Three Peaks Challenge looming ever closer, berg put in further time for their 2015 chosen charity Francis House – and further training in advance of their flagship 2015 charity challenge, berg took on the Cheshire Three Peaks Challenge alongside
Francis House staff and supporters last weekend, 7th June.
Founder and senior partner Reuben, his wife Fiona and several other berg team stalwarts set off bright and early on Sunday morning from Macclesfield Forest up to the windswept peak moors with a brief stop for refreshments at the Cat and Fiddle inn. 14 miles
later we were celebrating with brilliant views over an ice cream.
The walk was timely preparation for the big one next week – the National 3 Peaks challenge. This will take place Friday 19th and Saturday 20th June, the team of intrepid adventurers will be shown the way by
senior partner Reuben Berg and managing partner Alison Loveday, working non-stop for around 38 hours
on the road and in the mountains of Scotland, Wales and England, ascending and descending 9,800 feet (3,000m – more than one third of Everest’s height!) and walking 26 miles (42 km).

The community atmosphere of the Cheshire 3 Peaks walk last weekend, with the route bustling with fellow Francis House supporters and the friendly Francis House team on hand, really reminded us of why berg is supporting Francis House. Many walkers were families
and close friends of Francis House service users, and have directly benefited from periods of rest and recuperation services and bereavement support.
We are therefore asking supporters to give as generously as you can to our fundraising campaign for Francis House, via our online donation page, by calling 0161 833 9211 or emailing
