Carlyn graduated from Liverpool University in 2004 with a degree in Law (LLB(Hons)). She completed her LPC at the College of Law, Chester, in 2005. She worked as a tutor for the University of Liverpool (2005 – 2006), teaching mainly contract and business law. Originally from North Wales, Carlyn moved to Manchester in 2006 to train at Rowlands Solicitors LLP. She spent 5 years (2009 – 2014) in the Dispute Resolution team at Turner Parkinson LLP. She joined berg in 2014 and Kennedys in 2017.
Carlyn is a qualified Solicitor-Advocate (Higher Courts Civil Proceedings) with a particular interest in advocacy. In 2014, she obtained a Masters Degree in Laws in Advocacy (LLM) with Distinction from the University of Strathclyde, in Glasgow.
Any time she receives a good result for her clients.
She is also proud of completing her Masters degree, including a 15,000 word dissertation, in 10 months, whilst also working full time.
