Work highlights

Keyan was the Trainee on this reported and notable high value banking case. The case centred on an interest-rate hedging product sold to the Hockin family by RBS. The Hockins argued that the product had ruined their business and were seeking reparations from RBS. The case was legally and logistically complex and had substantial media interest. The case, that had been ongoing for 4 years, settled following the opening of the Claimant’s case at Trial in May 2017.

Keyan assisted a Partner at DWF on a variety of cases that involved the HSE. One case in particular concerned the deaths of multiple workers at a cement plant. The case had significant media attention and also had heavy involvement from the HSE.
