Mark is a Solicitor in Kennedys Manchester office and a member of the Commercial Litigation department. Mark qualified as a solicitor in 2012, having been called to the Bar in 2006.
Mark represents businesses, financial institutions, directors and partners in a broad range of commercial disputes and matters of professional negligence. Mark has particular experience in representing stakeholders in professional sports.
Mark has diverse commercial litigation experience having acted for a national supplier in a substantial demurrage claim against a ‘big four’ supermarket, leading the secured lending recovery offering for a regional building society and recently having acted for professional footballers and members of football club boards in high value litigation encompassing professional negligence, defamation, shareholder disputes and breach of fiduciary duty.
Mark was listed in 2016’s Legal 500 as “developing a reputation for property related debt recovery matters.”

- Full recovery of demurrage charges incurred by the importer upon the receiving supermarket delaying taking delivery.
- Acted for the defendant bridging lender in a rebate dispute exceeding £1 million with a national land developer. The claim was successfully compromised before trial.
Supporting on a high value claim for breach of contract proceeding in the High Court. The claim is advanced on a denial of promised development funding and the substantial consequential losses flowing from that funding not being available.
