Background: Tom graduated from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in 2007 with an LLB (Hons) in Law and completed his Legal Practice Course at BBP, Leeds. Tom trained and worked at Rosling King LLP in London for 7 years before joining the dispute resolution team at berg in August 2016 and Kennedys in 2017.
Tom advises on real estate disputes including contentious and non-contentious lease renewals, dilapidations, forfeiture actions, rent and service charge recovery, service charge disputes, disputes over breach of lease covenants, restrictive covenants and easements, complex and contested trespass and possession claims, rent reviews and title rectification. Tom also has experience in advising clients on claims against professionals in a number of professional sectors and other commercial disputes.

Outside of work: An occasional musician, traveller, cook, rugby player, cyclist and photographer who loves his cricket.
